Hi Jodi!
I randomly found your memoir book at Hoss's Store in Long Lake when I was traveling through. I knew you had written Stormwind, and have been waiting for Mom to finish it so I can read it, but I hadn't realized you had written the second book. I just got it today and can't wait to read it! I have only flipped through it but I am really excited to read all the great memories of our childhood! Best of luck to you for all your future dreams! Much Love, Jess

I took some rainy days and enjoyed reading both books which I got from the library. I thought it would be interesting to read a local author. What intrigued me most was finding out in your 2nd book, that I am pretty sure I live just up the road from your school age home your family built in Hadley. I have visited the same woods trail, sugar house, and barn many a time over with my dog. Whether it be on bike or x-c skis, I know them all and am touched by the coincidence. We must be kindred spirits, because my fondest memories growing up in NH and here on the mountain have always been romping around in the woods. You were certainly a brave girl to have traveled in the woods with Sally alone, but as we who travel this path, we are never really alone in the woods. If two roads diverge, it will be the one least travel I chose to walk my adventure.

Jodi,
Congratulations on your accomplishments...glad we knew you as a youngster when we all lived in Wilton. Hope your Mom and your Dad are well, please give them our regards. Dana is still riding, teaching youngsters how to ride, Tara is running marathons which replaced the riding. Good luck with sequel. Hope to hear back from you.

A great website. Did you create this through Publish America so somewhere else?
Sounds like a good book. Just published my book: "Miracles from God." Now trying to establish a good looking website. Have a great day.

Jodi, I am so proud of you! As you have so aptly proven, real writers are tenacious and committed to their work. What a lovely letter you sent. I certainly remember the early stages of this novel. I have read all the facets of your website and I am anxious to read the final version. Where is the best place to buy a copy? May your imagination keep you supplied for many sequels in this series. Keep in touch. Happy Writing! Mimi

Joki,
This is a fascinating website. And it rings home for us. My wife, Katey, who is a horse lover (she had a pony for many years as a teenager) was raised in the heart of the Adirondack Park...Long Lake in Hamilton County. We live now just outside Albany.
I'm sure she will be interested in reading your book for those very reasons.
Good luck with your sequel.

Jodi,
I am on chapter two and just read that Stormwind is about to be sold to a slaughter house. I am wondering what will happen next. I will find out tonight when I read at bedtime. I hope you meet you someday.

I love the pictures at the top of this page. I was raised in Eureka, CA and that picture reminds me of the redwoods. Your book sounds interesting. When I was young I read every horse story I could find. Check out my website.

Hi Jodi,
I purchased your book at the Black Watch Library in Ticonderoga, New York this past weekend. I am eight years old and I am really looking forward to reading your book. I wil pass it along to my sister when I am finished because she loves horses.
I also clipped out the article about you in the Times of Ti. I plan to keep it inside of my book. I like to write stories about dogs. My teacher Mrs. Donohue says that I am a very good writer. From, Caroline Burns
